Apple Cobbler

Syrup:
   ¾ cup of sugar
   3 tablespoons of flour
   1 teaspoon of cinnamon
   1 teaspoon of vanilla
   1 tablespoon of butter or margarine
   ½ cup of warm water
Dough:
   1 cup of flour
   1 cup of sugar
   1 teaspoon of baking powder
   4 tablespoon of butter or margarine
   2 eggs
8-10 sliced sour apples, like Granny Smith (bite sized)

Mix all of the ingredients for the syrup together. Coat all of the sliced apples in a casserole style dish and spread the syrup coated apples evenly. Mix all of the ingredients together for the dough and pour over the syrup covered apples, spreading evenly over the top. Bake in the oven at 350° for 45 minutes.
