Asparagus

Wash asparagus really well in a sink of cold water (I swish the asparagus back and forth, making sure it is clean and then rinse with cold water). Break each piece (it will break easily); place the flower top of the asparagus in a sauce pan. Put a small amount of water and a little salt over the asparagus and bring to a boil. Simmer for about 20 minutes.

Goop (sauce for the Asparagus):
   ¼ cube butter
   ¼ cup vinegar
   ½ teaspoon dry mustard

Melt the butter in the microwave. Add the mustard and vinegar to the melted butter. Then heat it again in the microwave for a few seconds. Pour over asparagus.
