Cornbread

1 ¼ cups of milk
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/3 cup of oil
3 tablespoons of melted butter
1 ½ cups of flour
2/3 cups of sugar
½ cup of cornmeal
1 tablespoon of baking powder
½ teaspoon of salt

Combine milk, eggs, oil and butter. Add remaining ingredients and stir just until blended. Pour batter into a greased 8 inch square pan. Bake 35 minutes at 350º.
For a topping, you could use honey butter.
